Later in the day, Shah will address a public rally in Taraiya, Chapra, followed by an intellectuals’ conference at Gyan Bhawan in Patna.
Shah is currently on a three-day visit to Bihar, which will continue until October 18. During his stay, he is scheduled to attend multiple political and organizational events. On the final day, he is expected to review nominations for the next phase of the elections and issue a key political message.
BJP Announces 40 Star Campaigners
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released a list of 40 star campaigners for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections. Among them is popular Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh.
The list includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP national president JP Nadda, and senior leaders Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Other notable names are Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.
From among women leaders, Smriti Irani, Rekha Gupta, and Renu Devi have been included. Prominent Bihar leaders such as Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Nityanand Rai, Radha Mohan Singh, Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Nand Kishore Yadav, and Rajiv Pratap Rudy are also on the list.
BJP Fields Candidates on 101 Seats
The BJP has announced candidates for 101 constituencies in Bihar. Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary and Health Minister Mangal Pandey are among those contesting.

Second list (October 15): The party released its second list featuring 12 candidates, including folk singer Maithili Thakur, who joined the BJP on October 14 and has been fielded from Alinagar.

Third list: The third list introduced 18 more candidates, including two women — Veena Devi from Kochadhaman and Sangeeta Kumari from Mohania. Notably, Sangeeta recently left the RJD to join the BJP.
