Former Jharkhand CM Shibu Soren Passes Away: CM Yogi, Mayawati Pay Tributes

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren has passed away. Soren, popularly known as Dishom Guruji, breathed his last on July 4 at Shri Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. Shibu Soren, who is called the Pitamaha of Jharkhand, had a kidney infection. He was also detected with bronchitis. He was on life support for the last one month. Shibu Soren's life has been full of struggles. He entered politics after his father's murder. After this, he played an important role in separating Jharkhand from Bihar.

Mayawati paid tribute

BSP supremo Mayawati has paid tribute to the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand. He wrote on his X handle that the news of the death of former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and founder of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and well-known veteran leader of tribal society Shibu Soren during treatment today is very sad. My deepest condolences to his son and current Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren and his family as well as all his supporters and followers. May nature give them all the strength to bear this sorrow.

CM Yogi paid tribute

CM Yogi Adityanath has paid tribute to Shibu Soren. He wrote on his X handle that the death of former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Shri Shibu Soren is very sad (Shibu Soren Dies). Humble tribute to him! He dedicated his life to the upliftment of tribal society.
