“Pawan Singh says he wants a child, but if that were true, why did he give me abortion medicine? Whenever I refused, he would harass me. I was so distressed once that I even tried to end my life by overdosing on sleeping pills,” Jyoti alleged.
The controversy has erupted just as Pawan Singh gears up to contest the Bihar elections. Responding to her claims, Pawan accused Jyoti of trying to use him for political gain, saying, “She wants to become an MLA, that’s why she’s reaching out to me.”
Countering his statement, Jyoti Singh retorted, “He’s been a BJP star campaigner for 15 years. When he couldn’t secure a ticket for himself, how could he possibly get one for me?”
