Jairam Ramesh's Allegation Sparks Row, Amit Malviya Hits Back

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh accused the Modi government of a "triple blow," triggering a sharp response from BJP's Amit Malviya, who called him an "expert in lying." The heated exchange has intensified the political debate.

PM Narendra Modi informed about Operation Sindoor during a phone call with US President Donald Trump and also denied US mediation on ceasefire. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri gave information in this regard. But Congress has started cornering the government on this issue.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh posted on social media site X and called it a 'triple blow'. He said that the inflammatory, provocative and objectionable statements of Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir were directly related to the Pahalgam terrorist attacks on April 22 and today Asim Munir is having lunch with President Trump at the White House.

Jairam Ramesh wrote, 'Is this the reason why President Trump left the G7 summit a day before, and could not give PM Modi a 'strong hug'? President Trump has so far trumpeted 14 times that it was he who got the ceasefire between India and Pakistan done - that is, he gave himself all the credit for ending 'Operation Sindoor'.'

He further wrote, 'General Michael Kurilla, the head of the US Central Command, has described Pakistan as a 'great partner' in the operations against terrorism. This is a triple blow to 'Howdy Modi' from 'Namaste Trump'! Indian diplomacy is falling apart with one blow after another and the Prime Minister is completely silent. Tomorrow is also the fifth anniversary of that cowardly statement in which the Prime Minister gave a 'clean chit to China'.'

Amit Malviya retaliated

BJP has also retaliated on these allegations of Jairam Ramesh. BJP leader Amit Malviya wrote, 'Jairam Ramesh is known for his fake statements and many people of his party have also accepted it.'
