With the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 approaching, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is focusing on strengthening the party’s organisational strategy. Today, several senior JDU leaders and potential candidates are expected at the Chief Minister’s residence.
Sources said leaders being considered for party tickets have been personally invited to discuss election strategy, candidate selection and regional dynamics. Earlier, CM Nitish had met leaders of the JDU Minority Cell at the party’s state office.
The Nitish Cabinet will hold its final meeting today at 3:30 PM. Sources said the government may approve several agendas. All ministers along with CM Nitish are expected to attend.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission team is arriving in Bihar today and will meet political party leaders tomorrow. The Bihar Assembly elections are expected to be announced in the coming days.
