'Like Pahalgam, Hindus were selectively attacked in Murshidabad too', BJP blamed TMC along with Congress

BJP has attacked TMC government on the basis of SIT report on Murshidabad violence. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said that like Pahalgam, Hindus were selectively targeted in Murshidabad too. The report revealed that TMC leaders and MLAs were involved in the violence who destroyed 113 houses due to which people were forced to migrate.

Jagran Bureau, New Delhi. BJP has attacked Trinamool Congress government with the help of facts of SIT report on the violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal. BJP MP and national spokesperson Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi said that just like terrorists selectively killed Hindus in Pahalgam, in the same way Hindus were selectively attacked in Murshidabad.

He said that the facts of the SIT report show that the anti-Hindu brutality of the TMC government is coming out in its full grotesque form. This has exposed TMC, INDIA and secular champions.

Report on incidents in Murshidabad
The BJP MP said that the SIT constituted by the court has given its report on the incidents that took place in Murshidabad between 2 and 4 pm on Friday, 11 April 2025. It has revealed facts that TMC had tried to spread confusion that people from other states including UP-Bihar were involved in the violence, while TMC leaders and MLAs were involved in it.

Why target Hindus?

Some leaders had said that no notable incident took place, while it came to light that 113 houses were demolished, due to which people had to migrate. The victims had so much distrust of the West Bengal Police that they wanted to stay in the camps of BSF and Central Security Force. When the victims pleaded for help, the police did nothing. He did not even pick up their phone, while at that time well-planned riots were being carried out in a terrorist style by targeting Hindus.
When will action be taken against TMC leaders?
Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi made a serious allegation that whatever be the type of violence and politics, the attack is being done only and only on the Hindu community. It is very clear that the planned violence in Murshidabad was done on the instructions of TMC leaders by looking at the religion-community. When will Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee take action against TMC leaders after this report comes out?

On the National Herald case, BJP spokesperson Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi said that those who claimed to be the sole successors of the freedom fighters, they themselves looted the property of the freedom fighters.
At the same time, on the questions being raised by some Congress leaders about Operation Sindoor, he said that some Congress leaders are engaged in Pakistan's PR exercise. He quipped that in some cases there is similarity in the mentality of Congress and Pakistan.
Just like General Asim Munir became a Field Marshal after losing the war in Pakistan, similarly in Congress too, one becomes a Field Marshal after losing the election (possibly he was referring to Rahul Gandhi). He also alleged that the opposition alliance is behaving like the Popular Front of Pakistan.
