Calls for Shah’s Removal from Cabinet Over Alleged Irregularities

Madhya Pradesh Congress President has urged the state government to immediately sack Forest Minister Vijay Shah, citing allegations of misconduct and demanding a thorough investigation into the matter.

The FIR was filed against Shah here on the direction of the Madhya Pradesh High Court following his remarks about Qureshi, who was a prominent face of the armed forces along with Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, during a media briefing on Operation Sindoor.

Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari on Thursday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should seek resignation of state minister Vijay Shah following Shah's objectionable remarks about Colonel Sofia Qureshi.

The FIR was filed against Shah here on the direction of the Madhya Pradesh High Court following his remarks about Qureshi, who was a prominent face of the armed forces along with Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, during a media briefing on Operation Sindoor.

"During the India-Pakistan tension, the Prime Minister gave two important messages to the country and the world. First, 140 crore Indians are united and second, 140 crore Indians stand with the Army," Patwari told reporters.
