In the Bihar Assembly elections, political parties are once again relying on family members.
Even within the NDA, nepotism remains evident. Manjhi has been allotted six seats, three of which have candidates from his own family: daughter-in-law Deepa Manjhi, mother-in-law Jyoti Manjhi, and son-in-law Praful Manjhi.
Similarly, Chirag Paswan has included his nephew in the race for an MLA seat. Upendra Kushwaha has fielded his wife, Snehlata, from Sasaram.
The trend highlights how family ties continue to play a key role in Bihar politics.
