Ravindra Chavan Becomes Maharashtra BJP Chief Unopposed

Ravindra Chavan has been elected unopposed as the new President of the Maharashtra BJP. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis congratulated him on the appointment, calling it a strong step towards organizational strengthening ahead of upcoming elections.

BJP has got a new state president before the local body elections in Maharashtra. Ravindra Chavan has become the new state president of BJP. His name was officially announced by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju. Ravindra Chavan's name was announced at a program held in Worli. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Banankul and other prominent BJP leaders were present on the occasion. Ravindra Chavan was elected unopposed as the state president of BJP. Ravindra Chavan will be the twelfth president of BJP.

Ravindra Chavan is known as a very trusted leader of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He is also known as an ideological leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He served as the Public Works Minister of the state when Eknath Shinde was the Chief Minister. After the Devendra Fadnavis government came to power, he also worked as the working president of the BJP. He will be the 12th president of the BJP after Chandrashekhar Bawankule.

Ravindra Chavan will face the challenge of electing as many public representatives as possible in the upcoming local body elections and making the BJP the number one party.

Chief Minister Fadnavis congratulated Ravindra Chavan. He posted a video on the social media platform X and wrote, "Hearty congratulations to my colleague Ravindra Chavan on being elected unopposed as the BJP Maharashtra State President! Best wishes for his future endeavors!"
