The Centre on Sunday released the first instalment of ₹25,863 crore to states and Union Territories for the implementation of the Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Grameen), popularly referred to as VB–G Ram G. The announcement was made during a review meeting chaired by Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan with state and UT rural development ministers through video conferencing.
