Thousands of devotees gathered at the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on Saturday morning to witness the sacred Bhasma Aarti. Lord Mahakal was ceremonially bathed with Panchamrit, adorned with silver ornaments, Rudraksha garlands, and holy ash before devotees sought blessings amid chants of "Jai Shri Mahakal."

With advance bookings touching nearly 95,000 passengers per day for the Shravan-Bhadau season, Ujjain is preparing for an unprecedented influx of devotees visiting the Mahakaleshwar Temple. Indian Railways will implement a one-way traffic system, deploy drones for crowd monitoring, run six additional trains, and establish a waterproof holding area to ensure smooth crowd management.
