Giriraj achieves 8th rank in MPPSC, rising from a constable to deputy collector, showcasing dedication and hard work.
Giriraj Parihar of Bhopal did wonders in the State Service Examination-2024 of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC). He secured 8th rank and got the post of Deputy Collector. But, the most important thing is that before becoming a Deputy Collector, Giriraj was posted as a constable in MP Police. The career journey of Giriraj, who belongs to a simple farmer family, is inspiring.
He has achieved this position with hard work while working as a jail guard and police constable. During nine years of government service, he never gave up and achieved success through self-study. Giriraj started his career as a jail guard in 2015. Then he became a cyber cell constable in MP Police. Started preparing for MPPSC from 2019. In the last MPPSC-2022, he passed and was selected for the post of Assistant Director Education (ADE), but tried again as he was not satisfied with the rank. He achieved success by preparing in one-fourth the time
By balancing studies with job, he prepared in less time. Talking to News 18, Giriraj said, “This journey was not easy for me, because I had to prepare along with the job. But, it was decided from the first day that I had to clear MPPSC and become a Deputy Collector. I got selected last time, but I was not satisfied with the rank, so I tried continuously. Normal candidates study full time, but I prepared in one-fourth the time.”
