CM Mohan Yadav’s Son Marries in Ujjain Mass Ceremony Alongside 22 Couples

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s son Abhimanyu Yadav tied the knot with Ishita in a grand samuhik vivah (mass marriage) ceremony held in Sanwarkhedi, Ujjain, on Sunday. The Chief Minister’s son shared the wedding stage with 22 other couples, all of whom took their marriage vows together in the presence of spiritual leaders, political dignitaries, and thousands of guests.

The mega event saw the couples arrive at the wedding venue on traditional horses and carriages. The entire venue was decorated with vibrant flowers, and a large marquee was set up for the brides and grooms.

Abhimanyu Yadav expressed his joy, saying, “Getting married in a mass ceremony brings double happiness. Such a grand event is taking place, and it feels very good. I have prayed to Baba Mahakal for a happy life ahead.”

Prominent Guests Attend Mass Wedding Programme

The ceremony witnessed the presence of several prominent personalities, including spiritual leader Pandit Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, yoga guru Baba Ramdev, Governor Mangubhai Patel, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, and Akhara Parishad President Ravindra Puri. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and State Ministers Tulsi Silawat and Narottam Mishra also joined the celebration.

As a gesture of goodwill, the Akhara Parishad and Patanjali Peeth jointly announced a gift of ₹2.25 lakh for each couple married in the mass wedding.

CM’s Message: Equality in Society

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that the mass marriage embodies social equality and unity. “People from various castes and communities have gathered here—some are drivers, others are waiters—but for the administration, everyone is equal. Every couple deserves the same respect as a bride and groom,” he stated.

Pandit Dhirendra Shastri praised the Chief Minister’s decision to organize his son’s wedding in a public ceremony, calling it a revolutionary step that may inspire a new trend in society and help reduce unnecessary wedding expenses.

Cultural Festivities and Celebrations

The atmosphere in Sanwarkhedi was filled with music and celebration. Traditional shehnai music echoed throughout the venue, while the CM’s family joined the festivities with a joyful dance performance. The grand event was marked by the blessings of saints and the participation of leaders from across Madhya Pradesh.

With the blessings of Baba Mahakal and the presence of top spiritual and political figures, the Ujjain mass wedding not only united 23 couples in matrimony but also sent out a strong message of harmony, simplicity, and equality in society.
