PM Modi Launches Scathing Attack on RJD-Congress in Muzaffarpur Rally, Accuses Opposition of Corruption and Insulting Bihar's Sentiments

In a fiery election rally in Bihar's Muzaffarpur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a blistering attack on the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress alliance, branding them as corrupt and desperate for power. He specifically targeted RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, calling them "Yuvaraj" (crown princes) of the "most corrupt families."

Addressing a large crowd, PM Modi asserted that the RJD-Congress coalition, which he compared to an unnatural mix of "oil and water," has come together solely for the "greed of power" and to "loot Bihar once again."

He claimed that the alliance is visibly panicking after seeing all survey trends predicting a historic defeat for them and a massive victory for the NDA.

Key Accusations and Political Rhetoric:

On Corruption: The Prime Minister repeatedly targeted Tejashwi Yadav, who is out on bail in corruption cases, stating that "Bihar should not go into the hands of such a Yuvaraj." He alleged that the RJD and Congress represent a regime of "jungle raj" and corruption.

On Alliance Dynamics: Modi described the RJD-Congress partnership as an alliance of convenience, driven only by the "lust for the chair" and not by any ideological unity.

On Chhath Puja Remarks: In a significant move to connect with local sentiments, PM Modi accused the opposition of insulting the revered festival of Chhath Puja.

He questioned whether the people of Bihar would tolerate such an insult to their faith and "Maiya" (mother goddess), urging the public to punish the opposition parties for their remarks.

Countering Rahul Gandhi: The rally also served as a direct rebuttal to Rahul Gandhi's speech in Muzaffarpur a day earlier.

PM Modi countered Gandhi's "dance for votes" jibe, turning the narrative back onto the Congress leader and defending his government's work.

Highlighting NDA's Work:

While on the offensive, the Prime Minister also highlighted the work of the Nitish Kumar-led state government, praising it for working for the poor, backward classes, women, and extremely backward classes.

He specifically mentioned the transfer of funds into the accounts of Bihar's women under a state government scheme, aligning the central and state governments' development agenda.

Election Battle Intensifies

PM Modi's aggressive speech in Muzaffarpur sets a sharp tone for the ongoing electoral battle in Bihar. By framing the contest as a choice between the NDA's development and the opposition's alleged corruption and disrespect for Bihari culture, the BJP-led alliance aims to consolidate its voter base.

With the PM scheduled for another rally in the state, the political temperature is set to rise further as polling approaches.
