Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has confirmed that Indore will host matches of the upcoming Women’s Cricket World Cup. Expressing pride in the city’s selection, he stated that all the matches will be thrilling and memorable. With top international teams competing, Indore is set to witness a celebration of women’s cricket like never before.

 
 

 Indore of Madhya Pradesh has got a big responsibility. This responsibility is related to international women's cricket. This is because the Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 is about to start. Whose matches will also be held at Holkar Stadium in Indore. This information has been given by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. He says that all the matches to be held will be very exciting.

Let us tell you that the venue of Women's ODI World Cup 2025 has been announced. This tournament of 8 teams will be held from 30 September to 2 November in five different cities of India and Sri Lanka - Bengaluru, Guwahati, Indore, Visakhapatnam and Colombo. The Indian team will play the first match in Bengaluru. At the same time, Pakistan will play all its matches in Colombo. The final to be held on November 2 will be held in Bengaluru or Colombo. It will depend on whether Pakistan qualifies for the final match or not.

The last T20 was played in 2024
Madhya Pradesh has not got a single IPL match for the 7th consecutive year since 2018. Due to this the fans here are looking disappointed. The last international T20 match was played in Indore on 14 January 2024. This match was between India and Afghanistan at Holkar Stadium. After this it was believed that Indore can definitely get a match in the 2025 schedule. So far 9 international matches and the same number of IPL matches have been held at Holkar Stadium in Indore.
