According to the ICC, the match played in Colombo on October 5 was watched by 2.84 crore (28.4 million) viewers for a total of 187 crore (1.87 billion) minutes. This match became the most-watched Women's International match to date.

The ICC said, in terms of viewership, this match was outstanding, but apart from this, the first half of the World Cup's league stage also saw record-breaking numbers on digital-TV platforms.

The first 11 matches were watched by 7.2 crore viewers on TV The India-Pakistan match also topped the TV viewership in the league stage in the history of the Women's World Cup. Including India's matches against Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and South Africa, the first 11 matches were watched by a total of 7.2 crore viewers. This is a 166% increase compared to the 2022 World Cup. These matches received a total watch time of 630 crore minutes.
