India vs Pakistan Women's World Cup 2025: Rs.29 Tickets still unsold despite hype, BookMyShow shows limited seats

The highly anticipated India vs Pakistan clash in the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 is struggling to sell out, with affordable tickets priced at just 100 Sri Lankan Rupees (approximately Rs.29) still available.

Scheduled for October 5 at Colombo's R. Premadasa Stadium, the match highlights the arch-rivals' face-off in a neutral venue due to ongoing hybrid hosting arrangements. BookMyShow, the official ticketing partner for the tournament, indicates seats in Block C-Lower Level and Block A-Lower Level are "Filling Fast," but not yet exhausted, raising questions about fan interest in women's cricket amid packed men's schedules.

The 2025 edition, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, kicks off on September 30 with India facing hosts Sri Lanka in Guwahati's Barsapara Cricket Stadium. Defending champions Australia begin against New Zealand on October 1 in Indore, while England take on South Africa on October 3. The tournament features 28 group-stage matches in a round-robin format, with most games starting at 3 PM IST across venues like Guwahati, Indore, Navi Mumbai, and Colombo.

India's campaign includes key fixtures: South Africa on October 9, Australia on October 12, England on October 19, New Zealand on October 23, and Bangladesh on October 26. All of Pakistan's group games, including the India showdown, are set in Colombo for logistical reasons.

Knockouts commence on October 29, with venues hinging on Pakistan's qualification. If they advance, semi-finals and the November 2 final shift to Colombo; otherwise, the first semi moves to Guwahati and the final to Navi Mumbai's D.Y. Patil Stadium.

Despite the low ticket prices aimed at boosting attendance, the unsold seats contrast with the usual frenzy around India-Pakistan encounters. Fans can grab tickets via BookMyShow for this and other matches, as the tournament promises thrilling action from top teams like Australia, England, and India. With women's cricket gaining momentum, this World Cup could be a game-changer.
