England's Hamza Sheikh played a sensational century knock to rescue his team from defeat and force a draw in the first U19 Test against India. Despite India’s dominant position, Sheikh’s resistance with the bat ensured England held on till the end, showcasing remarkable grit and talent.

 

The first youth test between India and England Under-19 cricket team ended in a draw. English captain Hamza Sheikh scored a brilliant century and denied India a win. The captain of the England Under-19 team scored 112 runs in 140 balls with the help of 11 fours and two sixes. Apart from Hamza, Ben Mayes and Thomas Ryu scored half-centuries and played an important role in drawing the match.

The first youth test between India and England Under-19 team in Beckenham ended in a draw. England Under-19 team captain Hamza Sheikh scored a century and played an important role in drawing the match.

The England team was chasing a target of 350 runs. By stumps on the last day, the host team scored 270 runs in 63 overs by losing 7 wickets. In this way, England prevented India from winning. The second and final Test match of the series between the two teams will start in Chelmsford on Sunday, July 20.

Hamza Sheikh played an important role in keeping England in the match. He scored 112 runs in 140 balls with the help of 11 fours and two sixes. He was unlucky and returned to the pavilion after being run out. However, Hamza Sheikh got a good support from Ben Mayes, who scored 51 runs in 82 balls with the help of three fours.
