Earlier games saw tickets priced between ₹1,000 and ₹25,000. Reports indicate brokers and touts are selling tickets at several times the face value, reflecting the massive surge in interest.

Among the nine ticket categories, the Rs 6,000 South VIP Terrace has seen the highest demand, followed closely by the East and West Stands priced at Rs 2,000. Experts have already dubbed the match a “mega show,” with expectations that it could set a new attendance record at Ekana this season. 

Fans Coming to See King Kohli

On paper, it is LSG versus RCB, but for many in Lucknow, the real draw is Virat Kohli. The “Kohli effect” is clearly visible both inside and outside the stadium as well as on digital platforms. Youngsters gathered in large numbers outside Ekana, underscoring the veteran’s enduring popularity even as the home team struggles.

Kohli’s Form Fuels RCB Hopes

Kohli has been the cornerstone of RCB’s batting this season, amassing 379 runs in nine matches at an impressive average of 54.14 and a strike rate of 165.50. In the previous meeting between the two sides on April 15 in Bengaluru, he scored a quick 49 off 34 balls to help RCB secure a five-wicket victory. Lucknow fans are now hoping to witness a bigger knock from his bat on Thursday.

Batting has been a major concern, with only Mitchell Marsh (256 runs), Aiden Markram (224), and captain Rishabh Pant (204) crossing the 200-run mark. Key performers from previous seasons, such as Nicholas Pooran and Ayush Badoni, have failed to deliver. While pacers like Prince Yadav and Mohsin Khan have shown promise, the bowling unit has lacked consistency.
