New secretaries appointed to lead portfolios in NRI Welfare, Human Rights, and Sports & Culture

The People Forum of India (PFI), under the leadership of National Chairman Dr. S. Manimizhiyaan, has announced key appointments aimed at strengthening its national framework and expanding its outreach. As per the office order issued today, the following office bearers have been assigned new responsibilities with immediate effect:

Dr. Alwin Roland Timothy – Appointed as National Secretary for NRI Welfare and the Union Territory of Puducherry.

Shri A. Leo Patrick Christy – Appointed as National Secretary for Human Rights and Media for Karnataka, with additional charge of Tamil Nadu.

Shri Anthony Baptista Fernandes – Appointed as National Secretary for Sports, Culture, and the Training Department.
The appointments were confirmed by Dr. Bhargav Mallappa, National Deputy Chairman (Organisation & Administration), and take effect immediately.
Speaking on the development, Dr. Bhargav Mallappa stated:

On his appointment, Dr. Alwin Roland Timothy said:

Shri A. Leo Patrick Christy remarked:

Shri Anthony Baptista Fernandes added:
"Sports and culture are vital instruments for social transformation. I am eager to strengthen PFI’s programs in these areas and foster inclusivity through training and community participation."
