Avesh Khan, who injured his knee during the IPL, will undergo surgery performed by renowned surgeon Dr. Pardiwala at Kokilaben Hospital. Wishing the fast bowler a speedy recovery.

Indian cricketer Avesh Khan will undergo surgery on his right knee on Tuesday at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. The procedure will be performed by Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, Head of Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at the hospital.

Avesh’s father, Ashique Khan, told Dainik Bhaskar that Avesh left for Mumbai from Indore on Monday for the surgery. After the operation, he will remain under medical supervision in Mumbai for a few days and will then require about a month of bed rest.

Dr. Pardiwala had earlier performed ligament surgery on Rishabh Pant in 2023, after Pant’s serious car accident in December 2022, which had caused major injuries to his head, back, and legs, including multiple ligament tears in his right knee.

Avesh has been dealing with a knee injury for several months. In IPL 2025, he missed the initial few matches for Lucknow Super Giants due to the injury. Although he made a comeback, he was injured again later in the season. He played 13 matches in IPL 2025 and took 13 wickets.
