Earlier, after winning the T20 World Cup title last year, both of them said goodbye to this format. Now both the players will be seen playing only 50 overs format i.e. ODI matches.

Indian fans hope that both these players would like to end their careers by winning the 2027 ODI World Cup. However, former legendary cricketer and captain Sunil Gavaskar has a different opinion from this expectation of the fans.
