Suryakumar Yadav had sports hernia surgery in Germany; shared photo, said he's recovering.

India's T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav underwent a successful operation for sports hernia on the right side of the abdomen in Munich, Germany. 34-year-old Surya wrote on his social media handle on Wednesday, 'Life update, surgery for sports hernia on the lower right side of the abdomen has been done. I am happy to inform that after a successful operation, I am now on the path of recovery.'

Team India will tour Bangladesh in August
The Indian team has to tour Bangladesh in the month of August. The team has to play a series of 3 ODIs and 3 T20 matches there from August 17. The T20 series will start from August 26. Currently, the Indian team has gone on a tour of England.

Surya made his international debut in 2021
Suryakumar Yadav made his T20 International debut for India in March 2021. In the very first match, he started with a six. His ODI debut also happened in 2021. His Test debut came against Australia in February 2023, although this is his only Test match. He has scored 2598 runs in 83 T20 matches so far. At the same time, he has 773 runs in 37 ODIs.
