‘BJP Leaders Deliver What They Promise’: State President Kiran Singh Deo Says Naxalism Is Ending in Bastar

Chhattisgarh BJP state president Kiran Singh Deo has said that leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party always fulfil what they promise. He stated that Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai have assured that Naxalism will be eliminated from the state by March 2026, and both the Centre and the state government are fully committed to achieving this. Their efforts, he said, are evident in the increasing number of successful anti-Naxal encounters.

Speaking to the media in Bilaspur, Kiran Singh Deo, who is also the MLA from Jagdalpur, said that operations to make Bastar completely Naxal-free are progressing rapidly. According to him, Bastar is now far more peaceful than before, and ongoing security operations have been consistently effective.

Maoists Returning to the Mainstream

He added that, due to government initiatives, many Naxal cadres are abandoning armed groups and returning to the mainstream, placing their trust once again in democratic processes. He said that the impact of government policies and security efforts is becoming increasingly visible at the grassroots level. A growing atmosphere of trust is emerging in Bastar, where people are showing renewed confidence in development and the Constitution. Deo claimed that Bastar will soon emerge as a fully peaceful region, with the government and security forces moving ahead with a clear strategy.

Government Will Procure Every Grain from Farmers

Kiran Singh Deo further said that Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has assured that paddy procurement will begin on schedule, and the process has already started. He reiterated that the government will purchase every single grain produced by farmers. The procurement system has been activated, and further improvements will be made in the coming days.
