In August 2025, all banks in Madhya Pradesh will observe 10 days off due to state‑specific holidays and regular weekend closures. Major shutdowns include Raksha Bandhan (Aug 9), Independence Day (Aug 15), and Janmashtami (Aug 16). Additionally, every second and fourth Saturday and all Sundays are designated bank holidays under RBI guidelines.

Banks are going to remain closed for 10 days in the month of August. Due to big festivals like Rakshabandhan, Independence Day, Krishna Janmashtami and Hartalika Teej, banks will remain closed for a total of 10 days in Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, banking services will also remain closed on every Sunday and two Saturdays of the month. It is important for everyone from common people to businessmen to complete their important banking work on time, so that there is no inconvenience during the holidays.
