CBI to Probe Encroachment on Waqf Properties, Bulldozers on Illegal Structures

CBI will investigate the case of encroachment and fake registration on properties worth about Rs 500 crore of Waqf Board in Chhattisgarh. At the same time, bulldozer action will also be taken on the encroachment done on the properties of Waqf Board. For this, the Waqf Board will soon send a proposal to the government. These things have been said by Chhattisgarh Waqf Board Chairman Salim Raj.
Waqf Board Chairman Salim Raj, who returned to Raipur after meeting Union Minister Kiren Rijiju from Delhi, said, Union Minister Rijiju has asked for all the documents of the properties of the Waqf Board. CBI investigation has also been discussed. Soon we will send a proposal to the state government to recommend a CBI investigation.
While talking to Lalluram.com, Salim Raj said that soon Union Minister Kiren Rijiju will come to Chhattisgarh. There has been a discussion with the Union Minister about the new Waqf Bill and Waqf property in the state of Chhattisgarh. Information has been given about the action being taken to remove encroachment from Waqf properties in Chhattisgarh. The Union Minister has praised the work of Chhattisgarh State Waqf Board.
Salim Raj said, preparations are underway to get the case of encroachment and fake registration of Waqf properties worth about Rs 500 crore investigated by the CBI. For this, the Waqf Board will soon send a proposal to the state government. Notices have been sent to those who have done fake registration several times. Now there are also preparations to run bulldozers on the constructions done on encroached properties.
