CM Sai to Inaugurate State Rural Bank; BJP’s Tiranga Yatra Begins Today

CM Sai will virtually launch the State Rural Bank today, coinciding with the start of BJP’s Tiranga Yatra campaign. Former CM Baghel is on a Delhi visit, while the Kannada-Chhattisgarhi Sangam concludes its final day of celebrations.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will be on a visit to Jashpur today, where he will attend various programs. At 11 am, he will participate in the virtual inauguration ceremony of the State Rural Bank from his native village Bagiya. After this, at 12:20 pm, he will attend the launch of Vardhman Enterprises in Kansabel. From 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, the Chief Minister will be present at the Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram. He will return to Raipur at 4:50 pm.
BJP's Tiranga Yatra campaign starts from today
BJP's Tiranga Yatra campaign is starting from today, which will run from August 10 to August 15. During this, a target has been set to hoist the tricolor in 50 houses of each booth. A workshop was also organized before the start of the Tiranga Yatra. The BJP has described it as a festival of devotion. Tiranga Yatra will be taken out across the state, in which programs like Partition Vibhishika will also be organized.
Former CM Bhupesh Baghel's Delhi visit
Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will be on a Delhi tour today. During this time, he will meet top Congress leaders. He will leave for Delhi from Raipur Airport at 8:45 pm and will reach Delhi Airport at 11:25 pm.
Minister Lakhanlal Devangan's three-day Delhi visit
Commerce, Industry and Labor Minister Lakhanlal Devangan will be on a visit to New Delhi from 10 to 12 August. During this time, he will have courtesy meetings with Union Ministers of the Government of India. Minister Devangan will depart for New Delhi by flight at 8.30 pm on 10 August (Sunday). He will reach Indira Gandhi International Airport at 10.05 pm. Minister Devangan will meet Union Ministers of the Government of India in New Delhi on 11 and 12 August. He will depart from New Delhi by flight at 7.20 pm on 12 August and return to Raipur at 8.55 pm.
Swadeshi Security and Self-reliance Campaign will be started
Mantra Swadeshi Jagran Manch is going to start the Swadeshi Security and Self-reliance Campaign against the US decision to impose tariffs on India from today. The workers will go from village to village and make every citizen pledge to use goods made in India. This campaign will start from Jayastambh Chowk in the capital Raipur.
Kannada-Chhattisgarhi Sangam in Bastar
Kannada-Chhattisgarhi Sangam is a unique cultural fair organized near Chitrakote waterfall in Bastar, which is bringing the tribal culture of Chhattisgarh and Kannada traditions of Karnataka on one platform. This event is a symbol of natural beauty and cultural coordination, in which local art, dance and cuisine are shining. This confluence started on August 9 and is on its last day today on August 10. Dance performances like Yakshagana and Dollu Kunitha of Karnataka are being held in the fair along with traditional dances of the local Gond and Halbi tribes. Also, the taste of local cuisine is also attracting people.
Chhattisgarh Health Mitanin Union's protest continues
Today is the fourth day of Chhattisgarh Health Mitanin Union's strike. The protest continues at Raipur's Dharna Sthal Tuta. Protests are also being held at the divisional level. A front has been opened for the three-point demand - integration in NHM, 50 percent increase in honorarium compensation, not to work with any NGO. Today, Mitanins of Surguja division will protest. Tomorrow, Mitanin women of Bastar division will protest.
