Trust of Friendship and a Scene of Brutality
A heartbreaking incident has emerged from Balod district in Chhattisgarh that has shaken the entire region. Here, a minor girl studying in Class 10 was first trapped in a love affair by her own classmate, and then two goons took her hostage and gang-raped her. Police have arrested all three accused in the case.
How Did the Incident Begin?
On Sunday afternoon around 2 PM, the victim had left home to attend tuition. Her classmate, who is also her boyfriend, lured her to the Rajahi Dam. Finding a secluded spot there, he established physical relations with her. But this is where the story took a terrifying turn.
The 5-Hour Terror Began with a Video
Seeing the couple in isolation, the two goons present there—Vasudev Vishwakarma (21) and Loman Gond (28)—developed malicious intentions. They secretly recorded an obscene video of both of them on their mobile phone. After this, they took the student hostage and began threatening her by saying they would make the video viral.
Five Hours of Torture:
- The goons kept the student seated at the dam itself
- They repeatedly blackmailed her by showing the video
- They molested her and also beat her up
- At 8:30 PM, both of them took turns raping the student
Throughout this, the minor boyfriend watched helplessly. Somehow, around 9:30 PM, the goons let the student go, after which she reached home.
Family's Concern and Police Action
When the student did not return home until late evening, her family started searching for her. Near the garden, they found her scooter parked, after which they immediately informed the Dalli Rajhara police station. Police were scanning CCTV footage when the student returned home at 9:30 PM. She narrated her entire ordeal to her mother, following which an FIR was registered.
All Three Accused Arrested, Sent to Jail
Under the leadership of CSP Vikas Patle and TI Santosh Bhuarya, police took immediate action and arrested all the accused by late night.
Legal Action:
- The minor boyfriend was sent to a juvenile home
- Vasudev Vishwakarma and Loman Gond were sent to jail on judicial remand
- Case registered under sections 147/2, 127, 62, 49 of BNS and Section 6 of the POCSO Act
