Minister OP Choudhary Targets Congress with 5 Questions

Amid the ongoing economic blockade, Minister OP Choudhary raised five sharp questions to the Congress. He questioned the Bhupesh Baghel government's transparency, asking, "Was there no public hearing during your tenure?"

Congress today did a statewide economic blockade in protest against the ED action against Chaitanya Baghel. On this step, Finance Minister OP Choudhary has asked to clarify the situation by asking five questions on the decisions taken during the Congress regime.

Finance Minister OP Choudhary, through his post on X, questioned the Congress whether the public hearing was not conducted on 16 October 2019 during the reign of Bhupesh Baghel? Was the then Congress government not recommending environmental clearance for Gare Palma Sector-2 on 31 March 2021? Was the approval of Forest Clearance (Stage One) not recommended on 19 April 2022, when the Congress was in power under Bhupesh Baghel?

The fourth question is, on 23 January 2023, was the recommendation of 'Forest Clearance' (Stage 2) not made during the Congress government of Bhupesh Baghel? And the last question is, was there no Congress-supported government in Maharashtra when MAHAGENCO Maharashtra State Power Generation Company was made MDO to Adani Group?

He said that the coalition government is completely united. Kamlesh said, "Everything is fine among the coalition partners and all are united including MLAs and ministers in the government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren."

He said that raising issues of public interest is not an expression of anger towards the government but the voice of the public, which the Congress fulfills responsibly. The Congress leader said, "The government is fully committed to solving the issues of the people, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tries to politicize every issue." All Panchayat and Nagar Committees will be formed: State President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh said that training programs have been organized in all the districts of the state under the organization creation program. After this, by August 15, the Congress will complete the work of forming committees at the ward level in Panchayat and urban bodies.
