1,000 Modern Flats for Government Employees in Raipur
Raipur, CG
The Center has approved the construction of 1,000 modern flats in Raipur for government employees, an initiative led by MP Brijmohan Agarwal.
A historic and welfare initiative for government employees is taking shape in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. As a result of the tireless efforts and vision of MP Brijmohan Agarwal, the Central Government Employees Welfare Housing Organization (CGEWHO) has given the green signal to the ambitious plan to build 1000 flats in Raipur.
This will be the first central housing project of the state, in which modern, quality and affordable housing will be provided in a phased manner for the employees of the Center, State and Public Sector Undertakings. CGEWHO has written a letter to MP Brijmohan Agarwal and formally requested to allocate 5 to 7 acres of unobstructed land for this project.
The foundation of this historic project was laid by the visionary proposal of MP Brijmohan Agarwal. He had recommended the construction of more than 1000 flats at a central location in Raipur under the 'Kendriya Vihar' scheme, so that government employees can have easy access to offices, schools, hospitals and public facilities.
CGEWHO Chief Executive Officer Gagan Gupta expressed his deep interest in starting the project in Raipur and thanked MP Agarwal. He said that the promptness and seriousness with which MP Brijmohan Agarwal has taken the years-old demand of central employees in Raipur to the Center is commendable.
MP Brijmohan Agarwal has requested Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma, RDA Chairman Nand Kumar Sahu, Revenue Secretary, Raipur Collector and Municipal Corporation Commissioner for land allocation. The first phase of the project will start as soon as the land is available, which will take the standard of living of thousands of public servants and their families to a higher level in the capital.
CGEWHO, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, is famous for its 'no profit, no loss' policy, RERA conformity, transparent functioning and quality assurance with IITs and government engineering institutes. After the successful tradition of more than 35 projects across the country, this project in Raipur will set a new example for Chhattisgarh.
He has said, "This is not just a housing project, but a new chapter of respect and convenience for the government employees of Chhattisgarh. The quick approval of the Central Government is a proof of the 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' resolution of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is my resolve that this project should be implemented in Raipur soon."
With the determination and continuous efforts of MP Brijmohan Agarwal, the citizens and government employees of Raipur are ready to welcome a new era of quality, accessible and safe housing through this project.
