Prof. Saraswat Sundarlal Sharma Appointed VC; Architect & Havildar Suspended; Major Theft Gang Busted

Prof. Saraswat Sundarlal Sharma has been appointed the new Vice Chancellor of the University. An architect’s license was suspended for illegal construction, and a havildar was suspended for extorting money from a farmer. Authorities busted an inter-state theft gang, and a long-term drinking water solution was announced for Takhatpur town.
Professor (Dr.) Virendra Kumar Saraswat of Computer Science Department at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra has been appointed as the new Vice Chancellor of Pandit Sundarlal Sharma (Open) University. His selection is expected to provide new energy towards innovation, digital transformation and quality based education in the state's higher education.
It is known that he has more than 30 years of teaching experience, out of which he has worked as a professor for 11 years. He has awarded PhD to 6 researchers, and work of 6 more is in progress. While 38 high quality research papers have been published in reputed journals, 5 patents have been obtained.
Taking action on illegal construction, the Municipal Corporation has suspended the license of the architect of the concerned project, Vikas Singh, and blacklisted him for one year.
For the first time, the Municipal Corporation has taken action against the architect by fixing responsibility for illegal construction without permission and against the rules. This is the first action in the state, in which the corporation has set a precedent by holding the architect responsible. Engineer Vikas Singh is registered with the Municipal Corporation through license number 234. Vikas Singh had submitted the online building permit case of Mehak Ahuja through online proposal 11209. In which he had submitted consent and affidavit regarding doing the supervision work of the construction of the building.
