500 Troops Capture Karregutta Hill in Major Anti-Naxal Operation
Security forces launched a massive anti-Naxal operation on Karregutta hill, deploying 500 soldiers via helicopter. The mission successfully led to the capture of the strategic location, marking a significant blow to Naxal presence in the region.
Today is the 9th day of anti-Naxal operation on Karregutta hill located on the border of Chhattisgarh and Telangana. On Tuesday, the force has captured the hill. 500 soldiers were landed here with the help of helicopter, whose video has also surfaced. Earlier, only Chhattisgarh Police, Telangana Police and Paramilitary Force were involved in this operation. At the same time, information has come to light about the arrival of Central Security Force personnel of Bihar and Jharkhand at Karregutta.
Let us tell you that the entire area of Karregutta hill, considered safe for Naxalites, is rugged. The temperature here is currently between 40 to 45 degrees. During the operation, many soldiers fell victim to dehydration due to extreme heat, while two soldiers were also injured by IED planted by Naxalites. At the same time, the soldiers have killed three female Naxalites. In total, about 10 to 12 thousand soldiers are participating in this operation, who are engaged in surrounding the Naxalites and demolishing their bunkers.
Force officials said that the operation will not be stopped now, the operation will continue. There are two more hills near Karregutta, which the force will also capture. After capturing the hill in Bhopalpatnam area, movement will also be started from Bhopalpatnam.
IB Chief held a meeting with officials
IB Chief Tapan Deka held a meeting with officials in Chhattisgarh amid the ongoing Naxal operation in Karregutta. It was decided in the meeting that the operation will continue and the force will also be called from other districts for backup.

Telangana Shantivarta member met CM Revanth Reddy to stop the major Naxal operation going on at Karregutta hill. He requested the CM to exert pressure on the Central government to stop the operation, to which the CM assured to take the initiative.
