After five months, the donation box of Danteshwari Mata was opened again on Monday. In it, along with cash, gold and silver, letters of devotees with wishes were also found. In which some had wished to marry their girlfriend and some had wished to get a job in NMDC. Letters asking for peace and happiness in the family were also found.
Hundreds of devotees visit the Danteshwari temple every day, who donate gold and silver as well as donate in the donation box. Apart from the country, Jyoti Kalash is lit here from abroad on special occasions like Navratri. Devotees have donated Rs 11 lakh 18 thousand 194. In February, Rs 19 lakh 23 thousand 723 was received in donations, Maai ji's donation box was opened in the temple premises on Monday amid tight security in which the amount of donations was counted by the members of the temple committee and the prominent people of the temple.
During Navratri, offerings worth 1 crore are received. The fame of Danteshwari temple is increasing day by day. Danteshwari Mata Temple has property worth crores. The maximum offerings are received during Sharadiya Navratri. During this time, devotees offer more than 1 crore in the Jyoti Kalash and donation box in the temple. Danteshwari temple has become grand now due to which the number of devotees has also increased. All the expenses of the temple are also met through donation money. A separate budget is given for the Phagun fair. The silver offerings received at Danteshwari Mata temple are used to make coins.
