Economic Offences Directorate (ED) has launched an investigation into Vijay Aggarwal for alleged involvement with the Mahadev Satta betting app. During the probe, authorities seized ₹70 lakh in cash. The matter gained prominence after Aggarwal attended a high-profile wedding in Jaipur, drawing the ED's attention.
On Tuesday, different teams of Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the residence, hotel, cashier and elder brother's house of railway contractor and Durg hotelier Vijay Agarwal in Delhi. This action created panic among businessmen. According to the information, ED team has seized Rs 70 lakh cash, mobile and other documents from Vijay Agarwal's residence. This action is being taken under money laundering.
On Tuesday at 6 am, ED officials reached the house of Deepak Nagar resident hotelier Vijay Agarwal in Durg in two vehicles. According to the information, ED team showed their ID card to the security guard, then they were allowed to go inside the house. Officials asked the family members to cooperate in the investigation and started investigating the documents. After this, the team reached Hotel Sagar and its manager's house. Investigation was done at all three places. It has been learned that ED has seized Rs 70 lakh cash, mobile and documents. ED's action continued till late evening.
