Due to which the district administration will earn an annual profit of 18 lakhs from the house boat. A project to run boat house and Shikara boat has been made at a cost of 3 crores from DMF funds. However, on the lines of Srinagar Dal Lake in Jammu, five Shikara boats have started running in Jhumka. But with the arrival of rainy monsoon, the Shikara boat has been kept safe. For the first time in Chhattisgarh, Shikara boat is being run in Jhumka reservoir in Srinagar Dal Lake in Jammu and Kashmir.
