Chhattisgarh Makes Registry Process Paperless with 'My Deed' System Implementation
Raipur,C.G
Chhattisgarh has taken a major digital leap by making the property registry process entirely paperless. The newly launched 'My Deed' system aims to simplify documentation, enhance transparency, and promote ease of doing transactions in the state.
To make the registry process digital and transparent in Chhattisgarh, the 'My Deed' online system has been implemented in all registry offices from July 10. This system was first started as a pilot project in some cities like Raipur, Navagarh, Dondilohara, Nagari and Patharia, where after its success it was implemented in the entire state.
Under the new system, now the process of partition and transfer will also be done online from the registry offices itself, so that people will not have to visit the tehsil offices. This system has been started with the aim of making the registry process fast, transparent and corruption free. Through this, documents can be checked, approved and registered from home. Also, since this system is linked to the Revenue Department, land records will be available online, which will eliminate the possibility of fraud.
