Naxalite Dump Unearthed Near Chhattisgarh Border; Explosives Recovered

Security forces discovered a Naxalite dump in the forests along the Chhattisgarh border. The recovery included a country-made gun, 50 grams of gunpowder, and various explosive materials, indicating potential militant activity in the region.

Continuous attack on Naxalism continues. Security forces have got success in joint action in Nuapada district of Odisha, bordering Gariaband of Chhattisgarh. Anti Naxal operation was launched on 25th July in Katfar and Chhatapani forests of Boden police station area. During the operation, security forces have recovered the dump of Naxalites.

From where many explosive materials including country made guns, gelatin, gun powder have been recovered. Nuapada SP G.R. Raghavendra has confirmed this.

This operation was carried out by DVF Nuapada and CRPF's D/19 Battalion (Garjanpani Company Operating Base) on the basis of reliable intelligence information. During area domination and search in the forests, a large quantity of weapons, explosives and other materials used by Naxalites were recovered.
