Crores Embezzled from Axis Bank Account; FIR Against Employee Umesh Gorle, ₹2.5 Lakh Jewelry Stolen on Pretext of Polishing

An FIR has been filed against Axis Bank employee Umesh Gorle for embezzling crores from a customer’s account. In a separate incident, jewelry worth ₹2.5 lakh was stolen under the guise of polishing.
A case has come to light of an employee of Axis Bank operating in Dharam Nagar Dongargarh taking bank documents of customers and transferring the amount from their accounts to his own and relatives' accounts and embezzling crores of rupees. On the complaint of the victims, the police have registered an FIR against the accused bank employee and are investigating. It is being told that after the disclosure of the case, the accused employee has absconded.
It is worth noting that recently there were reports of embezzlement of about 5 crores of customers in the Axis Bank branch operating in front of Mahavir Talab in the city. The victims have lodged a complaint in the police station against the accused Umesh Gorle, a former employee of the bank.
