Tomar brothers have the last chance to appear in court today
The court in Raipur has given the last chance to the moneylenders Tomar brothers to appear today. Both are absconding for the last two months. If they do not appear today, their property will be confiscated. Actually, Raipur Police had filed an application in the court for confiscation of their property, which was accepted by the court and the court has given the last chance to appear today.
NHM employees' indefinite agitation from today
The employees of the National Health Mission (NHM) of the state have announced an indefinite agitation from today regarding their ten-point demands. The organization clarified that if positive action is not taken on the demands soon, then this movement will take a widespread and intense form. The government will be fully responsible for the adverse effect on health services.
The ten demands of the union include merger and stabilization, establishment of public health cadre, determination of grade pay, transparency in work evaluation system, pending 27 percent salary, reservation of seats in regular recruitment, compassionate appointment, medical and other leave facilities, transfer policy and minimum 10 lakh cashless medical insurance.
Pt. Sundarlal Sharma Open University invites applications till 31st
Pt. Sundarlal Sharma Open University Bilaspur has started the admission process for the academic session 2025-26. The university has fixed the last date for applying as 31st August. This opportunity is special for those students and working people who cannot go to regular college and want to complete their studies. Government employees can also take admission in various courses with departmental permission. The university has clarified that permission to appear in the examination is given by all government departments as a normal process.
The university has also directed that students whose first, second or third year, semester results have not been declared can also apply for admission in the next class. Old students can add courses by logging in through their registered mobile number and enrollment number. If required, the application form can also be obtained from the university office.

Bhoomi Pujan will be held for the development work of Sarjubandha crematorium under the aegis of Krishna Mitra Foundation in Tikrapara of the capital Raipur.
