Cabinet Meeting, Collectors’ Conference Today; Court to Hear Chaitanya’s 5-Day Remand Plea

A cabinet meeting will be held today at 11 am in the Ministry, Mahanadi Bhawan under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. This meeting, which is to be held before the first foreign tour of the CM, is considered very important. Proposals related to agriculture, industry, women empowerment and education are likely to be discussed in the meeting.

CM Sai will hold various meetings in the Ministry today

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will hold various important meetings in the Ministry, Mahanadi Bhawan today. He will hold a cabinet meeting from 11 am. Apart from this, he will also hold a meeting with all the district collectors of the state. During this, he will see the presentation based on education and health.

Date of sports decoration ceremony changed

The date of the sports decoration ceremony has been changed. Earlier this event was to be held on 29 August, but now it will be held on 3 September. The date has been extended due to the foreign tour of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. Dr. Raman Singh will also attend this ceremony along with CM Sai. Sports Minister Tankaram Verma will preside over the program. On this occasion, those players of Chhattisgarh will be honored who have demonstrated their talent in the field of sports.

Eco-friendly workshop

Taking a step towards saving the environment, Shikarpuri Mahila Mandal is organizing an eco-friendly workshop in the Panchayat Bhawan located in Samata Colony of the capital. In this workshop, training will be given on the making of Ganesh idol (idol of clay Ganeshji). This workshop will be organized from 4 pm in Shikarpuri Panchayat Bhawan of Samata Colony. About 35 people have registered in this workshop.

Directorate of Archeology, Archives and Museum, Culture Department organized an exhibition 'Azadi Ki Garh-Gatha' under Chhattisgarh Silver Festival, in the Katha Vithika of Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum from 10 am. Seminar on the topic of Chhattisgarh's contribution in the freedom movement from 2.30 pm.
