Petrol pump operators had decided to start the Helmet-No Petrol campaign in Raipur district from today i.e. September 1. But this campaign seems to be ineffective at the ground level. Two-wheeler drivers who reach the pump without helmet are getting petrol without any problem.
Let us tell you that the Petrol Pump Association itself had decided to reduce the increasing road accidents that the 'No Helmet, No Petrol' campaign will be strictly implemented in the district from September 1. It will be mandatory to wear a helmet to fill petrol at all petrol pumps. In this regard, the Petrol Pump Association had also given information by submitting a memorandum to Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw and Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh. At the same time, the campaign has also received full support from the administration.
