In Bundiya of Bhatgaon police station area, police have arrested 5 people on the charge of conversion by luring them. Villager Ramanand Bargah had complained against the accused in the police station that he was called to a healing meeting organized in Mangal Toppo's house. Where he was promised to cure his disease and convert to another religion by offering other temptations.
Ramanand told in the complaint given to Bhatgaon police station that a healing meeting was organized in the house of Mangal Say of the village. He was also invited in that meeting. During the meeting, the people who came with Ramanand were promised to cure their disease and other temptations to convert to another religion.
On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case and took action. 5 accused including the pastor were arrested on the charge of conversion and presented in the court, from where they have been sent to jail on judicial remand.
