₹1 Crore Land Fraud Exposed

FIR registered in ₹1 crore fraud involving a 70-acre land deal; investigation underway.

 

On the report of a grain trader resident of Chaubey Colony, the police have registered a case of fraud and criminal conspiracy for taking Rs 1 crore 5 lakh after making a deal of 70 acres of land in Mahasamund Pateva and then not getting the registry done. The report has been written by Shashikant Tiwari, 55 years. The accused include Tajdar Khan, Sanjit Jangde and others.

According to police sources, the brokers first showed the agreement of the farmers and sold the land in Raipur and took money online along with cash. After this, when a dispute arose in the deal, the businessman went to Mahasamund Pateva with his acquaintances and gave money to 21 farmers and made an agreement with them. In which Tajdar Khan and Sanjit Jangde also signed as witnesses. Even after this, when the land was not registered, the accused said that they would return the money but the cheques given by the accused also bounced. Then a complaint was lodged at the police station.

According to sources, the matter reached the police after a deal was made to sell the said land to someone else in Arang. According to Civil Lines Police, Shashikant Tiwari Chaubey Colony and Sudhir Kumar Maggu Tagore Nagar are partners. Both of them had received information about a deal of 70 acres of land in village Barbhatha, Police Station Patewa, District Mahasamund from land broker Himanshu Masad Hirapur District Raipur and Prem Rooprela Fafaadih a year ago. A meeting was held with the buyers through land broker Tajdar Khan Gandhi Nagar Police Station Civil Lines, Sanjeet Jangde Barbhatha Police Station Patewa and others. Tajdar Khan had done a deal of 67 acres 45 decimals of land of 40 farmers namely Sadaram, Ravindra Kumar, Lakhan Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Sukhiram, Rikhiram, Tukeshwar, Anuj, Dulas, Anand Ram, Anandi, Pasvendra, Hiraram, Nandkumari, Babulal, Shyamlal, Ratiram, Pradeep, Panchram, Rekhram, Bimla Bai, Bhukhan, Ramesh Kumar, Pitambar, Sukalu, Chatur, Pratap Singh, Ratanlal, Tikeshwar, Pannalal, Bhagelu, Kishan, Sevakram, Hiralal, Jayshree, Santosh and others, Ganga Bai and Chhotu. The agreement of the said villagers was shown by the accused Tajdar Khan. After this, the deal was notarized in the Civil Court Raipur on June 5, 2024. But the registry was not done nor the money was returned.
