Two masked men robbed Rs 8 lakh from a fertilizer trader at gunpoint late at night and fled the scene.

A big robbery took place in Janjgir Naila late at night, in which two masked miscreants fled after looting more than 8 lakh rupees from a fertilizer trader. The police investigating the incident have taken two suspects into custody and are interrogating them.

According to the information, the incident took place near Balaji Lodge in Naila Chowki area, when the trader was going home on his scooter after taking money from the warehouse. Near Balaji Lodge, two masked miscreants riding a bike first made the trader fall, then ran away with a bag full of lakhs of rupees by pointing a gun at him. On receiving information about the incident that took place late at night, SP Vijay Kumar Pandey along with Additional SP and Kotwali police station in-charge reached the spot, and started investigation along with interrogation.
