Change in general ticket counter at Raipur station

The process of shifting the unreserved ticket counter to the railway reservation center at the railway station has started. That is, now after a few days, the general ticket available to the passengers will be available from inside the reservation center itself. Till then, the commercial department of the railways has made extensive arrangements so that the passengers do not face any inconvenience. The crowd is being constantly monitored by the officers, inspectors and supervisors of the commercial department.

According to the information, so far one counter has been shifted, in place of which three additional automatic ticket vending machines (ATVMs) and four mobile ticket providing staff have been deployed. One more ATVM will be shifted in the next 24 hours, while the second ATVM in 48 hours and within 48 to 72 hours all the unreserved ticket counters will be completely shifted to the railway reservation center.

Monitoring is being done every hour in the control room of the commercial department to ensure the convenience of the passengers. Apart from this, 24×7 Chief Commercial Inspector and Chief Supervisor have been deployed. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Awadhesh Kumar Trivedi is personally monitoring the situation and reviewing it every hour with his subordinate officers.
