The Trauma-Emergency Department of AIIMS has developed an Intelligent Emergency Care System (IECS) based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), which detects the heart risk of the patient within a minute. In a trial on 20 thousand patients in a year, this system has proved to be absolutely accurate in 90 percent of the cases. It has become possible to find out in just 1 to 2 minutes with this system what is the risk of chest pain of the patient coming to the hospital and which medicine will be suitable for him. The youngest patient in this trial turned out to be just 28 years old. Statistics show that 60% of the 20,000 patients were young people between 28 and 35 years of age. The biggest advantage of this will be that even a patient sitting in a village will get the facility of a digital cardiologist. This is how it works
The patient's ECG, blood pressure and pulse rate are immediately entered into the system. The doctor has to enter the answers to about 10 questions related to the patient's symptoms.
