‘Balidani Raja Guru Balakdas’ Hits 31 Cinemas Today

 The film Balidani Raja Guru Balakdas will be screened across 31 cinema halls starting today.

"Balidani Raja Guru Balak Das," Chhattisgarh's first historical film to be shown on the big screen, produced by Satnami Film Productions, Raipur, is set to release simultaneously in 31 theaters across various districts of Chhattisgarh tomorrow, September 19th. The honor, pride, and faith of millions of Chhattisgarh residents, including the Satnami community, are linked to this film.

The film's producer and senior literary figure, Dr. J.R. Soni, and media in-charge, Chetan Chandel, told the media that this film, based on the life philosophy and valor of Guru Ghasidas's second son, the great and valiant king Veer Balidani Guru Balakdas, beautifully depicts all the events from Guruji's childhood to his martyrdom. The friendship between Chhattisgarh's first freedom fighter, martyr Veer Narayan Singh, and Guru Balakdas, which contributed to awakening the rights, privileges, and self-respect of all sections of society, has also been filmed. The film is directed by Amir Pati, and dialogues are by Kis Kurre. The film, which took approximately three years to make, was shot in Bhandarpuri, Naya Raipur, New Rajendra Nagar, Amaleshwar, Odisha, and Hyderabad.

The film features four songs, including the title song. Lyricist Dhannu Pawan Mahanand, and melodious singers Anurag Sharma, Sunil Soni, Kanchan Joshi, and Dr. Devesh Dahariya have sung the songs. Om Tripathi plays Guru Balakdas, Minister Khuswant Saheb plays Guru Agardas, former Minister Amarjeet Bhagat plays Martyr Veer Narayan Singh, and former Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahariya plays Pandit Sutradhar.
