Vijay Sharma Vows to End Armed Naxalism by March 2026

Chhattisgarh’s Deputy CM asserts that the state’s security forces will completely eliminate armed Naxal units by March next year, aligning with national pledge.
Security forces have successfully killed two Naxalite Central Committee (CC) members in Narayanpur. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma stated that amid a series of successes, security forces have killed senior Naxalite cadres. Senior Naxalite leadership is being eliminated, and their organization is weakening. Armed Naxalism will be eradicated by 2026.
Regarding former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's criticism of Vijay Sharma's mental state regarding his talks with Naxalites, the Deputy Chief Minister stated, "My mentality is stable and I want development to reach Bastar." He also questioned why they (Congress) don't want to end Naxalism. Indeed, a large number of Naxalites want to join the mainstream of society.
Regarding the inauguration of 51 Mahatari Sadan, Vijay Sharma said that this had been a long-standing demand from mothers and sisters. 2.9 million women are associated with self-help groups. There will be better living arrangements for all. A special women's program, "Didi Ke Goth," is also being launched by self-help groups. This is a major step towards women's empowerment.
Regarding GST 2.0, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the BJP will reach out to retailers. Senior BJP leaders will visit stores and shop. He also appealed to shopkeepers to provide information about GST.
