MP Brijmohan Agrawal has written to the Higher Education Minister, calling for the consistent and timely conduct of State Eligibility Test (SET) exams.
Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal has written a letter to Higher Education Minister Tank Ram Verma, requesting regularization of the SET exam to provide greater opportunities for youth to fill vacant positions in colleges.
SET exam held only 6 times so far
The letter stated that the NET (National Eligibility Test) exam is held every 6 months, while the SET (State Eligibility Test) exam has only been held 6 times in the state. Consequently, SET-qualified candidates have fewer opportunities. A request has been made to conduct the SET exam before the recruitment for 700 positions in the department.
