Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Amrit Bharat Express train between Brahmapur in Odisha and Udhna in Gujarat on Saturday. This will add the train service to the long-distance service of South East Central Railway. The first Amrit Bharat Express train to pass through the zone will have stops at Raipur, Durg, and Gondia stations. This will provide direct and convenient long-distance travel for passengers in the region. This new train will provide direct long-distance connectivity from Odisha to Gujarat and connect several important districts and cities in eastern, central, and western India.

Commercial stops for this train are at Bardoli, Vyara, Navapur, Nandurbar, Dondicha, Sindhkheda, Amalner, Dharangaon, Jalgaon, Musawal, Malkapur, Akola, Barnera, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Raipur, Laxman, Khariar Road, Kantabhanji, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rairangpur, Parvatipuram, Bobbili, Vijayanagaram, Srikakulam Road, and Palasa stations.
Amrit Bharat Express to run regularly from October 5th
Regular operations of this train will commence from Udhna on October 5th, 2025, and from Brahmapur on October 6th, 2025. The 19021 Udhna-Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Udhna every Sunday at 7:10 AM and arrive at Brahmapur at 1:55 PM the next day. This train will arrive at Gondia station of South East Central Railway at 21.40 hrs, depart at 21.48 hrs, arrive at Durg station at 23.53 hrs, depart at 23.58 hrs, arrive at Raipur station at 00.35 hrs, depart at 00.45 hrs and depart for its destination. Similarly, 19022 Brahmapur-Udhna Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Brahmapur every Monday at 23.45 hrs and reach Udhna at 08.45 hrs on the third day. This train will arrive at Raipur station of South East Central Railway at 14.55 hrs, depart at 15.05 hrs, arrive at Durg station at 15.50 hrs, depart at 15.55 hrs and arrive at Gondia station at 17.55 hrs, depart at 18.00 hrs and depart for its destination.
